Why Do Msm Continue to Refer to Fox News

Wow! Are you ever misguided in terms of your views on accuracy and legitimacy in the news. Whereas Fox News does tend towards a more conservative viewpoint, it is far less biased than NBC, ABC, MSNBC, CNN, WaPo and so forth. These mainstream networks are little more than Democratic shills... some to the point of producing a constant flow of biased, fake news to favor a leftist, socialist view. You have far greater opportunities for your left-leaning news on MSN than conservative so you really need to get a grip.

And repeatily  claims that they are not news organization but the commenting host.  Over the years, they make a lot of basisless claim on the data, there is no way that they are going to back their news claim on false data.

I don't mind them to be entertainment sector of it (like late night show.)  Every one can have their own opinion or leaning.

But MSN shouldn't classify as opinion talk show as a news.

News require verification and correctness of the event and date.   For argument shake, if a company bought name as Dog and Cat News,  The fact the name end with news have nothing to do with MSN classify it to MSN's News section if inaccuracy of news keep showing up.

I am actually fine with if you have history news accuracy and responsibility that news organization to justify to move MSNBC, ABC, CNN, WaPO to Entertainment section.

As you point out, tend towards a more conservative view point (as you point out,  it is opinionated, then it doesn't belong in News, but rather Entertainment )

Don't put opinion data on the MSN News section -- it doesn't belong there -- News are supposed to be fact-checked.  Date/event driven.

By moving opinionate data/personal to the News of www.msn.com.  Microsoft should be able to check data accuracy over the years to verify what company does put out the fact check news verse shaky identity. Otherwise, Microsoft is no difference than social media which get leverage by unknown identity.  The same answer by facebook, twitter etc --

As to your suggestion  It is fair point, we should all stop using www.msn.com to begin with  (how about a thumb up/down on MSN home page.)

Thanks for your suggestion.

All so-called news is biased: period. If you are searching for unbiased, straight-forward fact-checked news with nothing but the facts you are not going to find it - anywhere. It is a phantom (i.e. it doesn't exist). I've customized MSN so that most of the sections are eliminated. As for its presentation of the politics of the day, I simply do not read any of it... not a single word. The reason is simple: it's so biased and compromised it isn't worth my time and effort. I find my own "news" (and I admit that it too is biased but it seems to me to be more balanced) from Fox and Daily Wire. MSN can still function as a portal for you (I gave up on MSN when it changed its format some years ago) but I'm afraid you're going to continue to be frustrated by its news presentation.
